What happens when you are late for a date with the love of your life? What happens when nobody stands by your side when you need them the most? This new video by The Kiratas addresses such issues with a pinch of humor.
The Kiratas released ‘Phoong Phoong’, a very simple catchy song along with a video featuring a love story. ‘We wanted to do a basic pop rock tune and experiment a bit with samples.’ The band started working on the song in August and completed it within two days.
Cinematographer Gaurav Roy and director Saurav Roy, brothers originally from Assam but based in Mumbai, shot the video. ‘We have been long time admirers of their work and it was an exhilarating experience working with them. We worked round the clock for 72 hours and shot two videos.’
The band is planning to start work on their second album. The immediate future holds another music video, a duet titled ‘Bibara Barwbla’ featuring Sikiri Brahma which will release next month.
‘We would like to thank our fans for their overwhelming support throughout these years. Do like, share and subscribe our Youtube page for updates, Cheers!’
